What HEOP does not guarantee

HEOP is an enabling platform, not one universal analytics package. Facial analysis, queue measurement, object classification, anomaly detection, traffic analysis, or another specialized function is available only when a compatible application provides it and the selected device exposes the required resources and interfaces.

It also does not remove the need for system integration. An edge application may create an event, but the recorder, VMS, access-control platform, or operations workflow must know how to receive, display, store, and act on that event.
